What is a computer?
Computer is an electronic device that takes input, processes input and produces output and saves output.
Functions of a computer:
- Input
- Processing
- Output
- Storage
Types of computer:
- Analogue computer: Process analogue data. Ex: Speedometer, Mercury Thermometer.
- Digital computer: Process arithmetic and logical operation. Ex: Laptop, Desktop etc.
- Hybrid computer: Both analogue and digital computer. Ex: Computer for fuel pump that measures fuel in liter and calculate price too.
